Island peak climbing is one of the
most beautiful climbing peaks which is situated in the Khumbu region. We can experience a heavy snowfall at this
trekking route. The trekking route is not that tougher as many of you think but
due to the extremely cold season and heavy snowfall, we may find some
difficulty to trek through the area. Island peak climb can be combined with Everest base camp trekking and Gokyo
Lake trekking etc. We can see many beautiful and marvelous mountains throughout
the route. While climbing this peak, we need some experience to play with snow.
This trail very busy Autumn and Spring Season Trekking in Nepal. mainly high light area of from Lukla to Namche,
Khumjung, Thame, Gokyo Lake, Tengboche, Lobuche, Gorakshep, Everest Base Camp,
and Kalapathar.
Our journey begins at Lukla. To
reach to Lukla, we may either choose the airways or we may trek from Jiri. The
flight over to Lukla from Kathmandu is about 35 minutes. So, if you have enough
time to trek and have a great passion to know more about the Nepalese culture
and tradition. Throughout the way from Jiri, we can experience a panoramic view
of natural things like green vegetation and many wild animals. We have to trek
through Sagarmatha National Park to reach island peak climbing. The way to the Island Peak Climbing is sloppy with the
grassy surface. Presence of rocks from
the base camp made it little tougher to climb at this peak. Nowadays, many
ropes are fixed at the pinnacle, so we can climb the peak with the help of
ropes. One having an experience of using rope will definitely find it easy to
climb Island peak. Generally, the season between March to May and September to
November is considered as best to climb through this region.
